Reagan Home Care Pharmacy, an independent multidimensional progressive pharmacy, is located in Conyers, Georgia approximately thirty minutes outside of Atlanta. The staff of over thirty employees understands the growing needs, concerns, and desire for information with respect to complex disease states and treatment options. As such, the Reagan team consists of pharmacists, technicians, durable medical equipment specialists and respiratory therapists in an attempt to meet the diverse needs of the community. Reagan Home Care Pharmacy is dedicated to providing the most up to date pharmaceutical care and is well equipped with technology including Care Point®, In Touch® diabetes software and DynaPulse® blood pressure system.
Reagan Home Care Pharmacy is a leader in innovative services. Besides offering prescription services, the pharmacy is involved in a wide variety of services, including home health oxygen and supplies and durable medical equipment. Using a comprehensive multi-disciplinary approach, Reagan Home Care Pharmacy offers home infusion IVs and support, mastectomy supplies, diabetic supplies and education, wig fittings, and Medicine-On-Time medicine packing services for assisted living facilities. Reagan Home Care Pharmacy also offers custom compounding via membership in PCCA.
Because of the progressive approach to pharmaceutical care at Reagan Home Care Pharmacy, the resident has exposure to a wide range of services. The Reagan Home Care Pharmacy Community Pharmacy Practice Residency involves, but is not limited to:
- active participation in existing clinical services;
- development of new pharmaceutical care programs;
- participation in nutritional support to assisted living facility residents;
- hands-on management experience from the independent pharmacy perspective;
- experiential and didactic teaching within Mercer University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences;
- development of a research project;
- attendance at local and national pharmacy organization meetings; and
- other areas of interest to the resident.
