Program Description
The Physician Assistant program is a 28-month program that will award a Master of Medical Science (MMSc) degree at completion. There will be a 13-month didactic phase, followed by a 15-month clinical and professional didactic phase.
Mercer University is a participant in CASPA (Centralized Application Service for
Physician Assistants, www.caspaonline.org). All applicants are required to complete an application through CASPA and a
Supplemental Application in order to be considered for admission into the PA Program.
Successful applicants will be invited
to campus for an interview in the spring/summer of 2013 for final consideration for acceptance into the program.
A rolling admissions process is used and applicants
are encouraged to apply early.
The deadline for the January 2014 Class is
August 1, 2013. CASPA will close on March 1, 2013 and will
not verify or roll over any applications into their
new cycle that will open in April 2013. We use a
rolling admissions process and strongly encourage
applicants who wish to be considered for the January
2014 entering class to submit their applications,
transcripts, and letters of reference to CASPA by
March 1, 2013 so that the CASPA application
materials will be received early in the admissions
process.
